Playing
- How do I read an encrypted clue?
- Every chapter uses one classical cipher, and the key is always shown to you; you are never asked to guess it. Tap Decoder on the puzzle screen for the wheel or reference chart for that cipher. Each chapter also has a hands-on lesson you can replay any time from the chapter screen.
- I'm completely stuck on a clue.
- Use a hint (see below), or move to another clue. Crossing letters from words you have solved often crack the one you are stuck on.
- How does the daily streak work?
- Solving the daily puzzle extends your streak by one. Miss a day and it starts again from one. There is no way to buy a streak back, on purpose: it is the one thing in Kryzzle that money cannot touch.
Coins and hints
- What do hints cost?

- You start with 400, and every puzzle you solve pays. Campaign levels pay 45 to 100 depending on how far into the game you are, a chapter finale pays an extra 150, and the daily puzzle pays 60. There is no cap on your balance. Replaying a level you have already solved does not pay again.
- Can I get coins without paying?
- Yes. Solving puzzles is the main way, and it is enough to finish the entire campaign without spending anything. There are also two optional video clips: after a win you can watch one to double that puzzle's reward, and if you can't afford a hint the game offers a clip that pays 40 coins, up to three times a day. Both are always your choice; nothing plays uninvited. Coin packs are there if you would rather not wait.
- What else are coins for?
- Table styles in the shop: themes that repaint the whole puzzle, decoder wheel included. They change nothing about how the game plays; they are there to be enjoyed.
- I bought coins but they haven't arrived.
- Coins land as soon as the App Store confirms the purchase. If it was interrupted, reopen the app. If your balance still hasn't moved, email us with the date of purchase.
Your progress
- I lost my progress.
- If you are signed in to iCloud, your progress, streak and coin balance are backed up to your own iCloud automatically; reinstalling, or signing in on a new iPhone, brings them back. If you were not signed in, everything lived only on that device. Either way, if a balance you paid for has gone missing, email us and we will put it right.
- Is there a way to back it up?
- It happens on its own. Progress is saved to your private iCloud whenever you are signed in; no account with us, nothing to switch on. Settings in the app shows whether the backup is running. To keep everything on the device only, turn Kryzzle off under iPhone Settings › your name › iCloud › Apps using iCloud.
- Do I need an account or an internet connection?
- Neither. There are no accounts, and every puzzle including the daily one works fully offline.
Settings
- Can I turn off sound or haptics?
- Yes: Settings → Sound & Haptics. The app also respects the system Reduce Motion setting.
- Can I use it in dark mode?
- Yes. It follows your system setting, or you can pin it light or dark in Settings → Appearance.
- Can I suggest a feature?
- Please do. There is a feature-request board in Settings where you can post ideas and vote on other people's.

See the privacy policy. The short version: no account, no analytics of our own, only rewarded ads you choose to watch, and your progress stays on your device and your own iCloud.
